Its a new world out there this morn. we start our year under new threats, laws, and a whole lot of uncertainty. on the other hand life is good for us here in canada. we enjoy freedom for the most part, and theres plenty of opportunity for any who look for it. our education system is okay, the health care is good, and the sugar coating looks great......

we are trained to live for the day. look in your fridge, how much of it is not natural food. look in the cupboards, how much of it requires a stove, or oven, even a microwave, and when you turn the heat up we trust the power will stay on, and the water wont stop running. yet...yet.... they do shut off. get behind in bills and there is no hesitation to turn you off, but overpay or to get hooked up they cant come out or turn it on for a week. the bank is our friend? hell no! my account got hacked from vancouver and when i called head office to say 170$ has been hacked from the account they said it wasnt their problem. what? 

so all in all if you stay up on current bills, you obey all laws and signs, work hard for your family and give everything. that doesnt give you any credit. nope.... some folks do get lots of help, some people have horse shoes somewhere, hell, some folks got the whole dam farm up their a.. but i aint one of them. been a hard go the whole time. iv had to prove myself my whole life. always started at the bottom and worked my way up, and when a record showed up from the past im let go. when i was in need of assistance to feed my family after my heart attack they told me to sell our home and move to the city before they would help. there is no quarter for free in life, yet we are asked to pay higher phone bills, higher ins rates, food costs more, fuel is higher, rent goes up and cut backs, lay offs, and tax increase is what we are rewarded with.

i recall a 7000 $ tax return was due one year, nice for us to get a little back. but a notice come in the mail, they said they were keeping it all and applying it towards next years return. yet we were all cought up on bills, no notices, no outstanding payments. not what i expect from the government. next year i owe income tax? oh my lord......

so the economy is a priority, the government sells mineral and ore rights to other country's, they allow huge deals overseas, our products are half the cost accros the boarder. its a stimulus thing to help others, millions in aid, millions in assistance, millions more in relief funds overseas, it goes on and on.... but coming from a country with less population that the state of new york and then to turn around and say we have to do more.

im just pointing out a few signs i have seen coming, and the way things are going,, i got to wonder if i can teach my kids to live in that world. is that the futer we inherit? i dont think this is the best we can do. there is a life out there. where folks can be proud of what they achieve, what we can become. in the meantime i love my country. i will not hesitate to support anyone in need. i believe in the rule of law, and the seven laws of humanity. 

i believe our freedom is at stake, i see our liberty's being tightened up. with the powers being increased to gov agencys and law enforcement. all accros the board government agencys have started weapons training, profileing, and categorizing of individuals. seems disarming citizens is more important than protecting them from the criminals and hoodlums robbing them. with threat levels increased we are all suspects untill proven a patriot of Canada. sad but true, its in the training from day one.

we question our leaders, suspect why things arent working. and when they are faced with popular disatisfaction respond by violence and force.

 but before i get carried away im going to back track.

i support law enforcement, the canadian military, the justice system, i stand for canada and my fellow brothers and sisters. i believe in the spirit and heritage of canadians. i am patriotic and raise my kids in truth, honor, and good moral value. i teach to be accepting of others, to deal fairly and just. that if someone is hungry we feed them, if the hood is up we stop and help. its true. Canada is folks like you and me....

 

to see the world in a grain of sand, and an eternity in an hour glass....

the blue mountains are of themselves, blue mountains....

i wonder what will come of it all one day.
