ALTERNATE LIFESTYLE WORKS

my doctor says to me ..your way too young to have a heart attack.
 somewhere else a new home is makeing the kids sick. gaseous fumes from toxic paint, new carpets. new appliances, computers and electrical equipment create a negative magnetic field that can alter the bodys impulses. chemicals and additives test safe in controled experiments, but at body temperature 98 degree's they change composition and become toxic for humans. {desert storm syndrome, alhzeimers, parkinsons, thyroid disease.}
soda pop, and candy all have additives. pre-packaged foods have mono sodium glutamates and other preservatives. peel back the creamer and pour it in your coffee, but your washing the glue residue into your coffe as you pour it in and drink it. cheddar cheese in the store is heat sealed in plastic, but the fumes and residue from the process gets trappin in the cheese.
herbicide and pesticide used in crops, are known to be a carcenogen. i hardly ever see folks washing all the food before cooking.
we went from the country with the most fresh water in the entire world. to having to pay for water, be taxed for drinking water, and as it turns out the recycled bottles with a number 7 on their bottoms are toxic to us.
the chinese have been pumping lead and mercury into candy, toys, paint, ....think about that...how many things are made in china? older dishes and china ware is the same, aluminum pots and pans give alhzeimers. .......

whats the alternative? i dont think we can eliminate but we can minimize. i bake with cast iron, use stainless steel pots, use an environmentaly safe dish soap and rinse twice. i guage my food intake by nutriant value. the stomache digests 34g at a time. prep food and follow directions when using wild edibles. dont eat untill your full, you know when you hit that comfortable zone, not quite full...stop.
i eat raw garlic and raw ginger root, i eat 100% bran twice a day, so with whatever i eat at meals i dont cheat.
buffalo..
fish..
skinless chicken..
yams - parsnips -broccoli- leeks- cranberrys- blueberrys- flax-rye-alfealfa-peppers-chilis-belgian endive-sunflower seeds-pumkin seeds-almonds-walnuts-sesame seeds-whole grain breads- 1% milk-
i suplement other vegetables from time to time but those foods listed are super charged foods. they all cleanse and provide much vitamins minerals nutrients. some are medicinall and others are good staples.
add in there some phyto nutrients and polyphenols i feel great.

some say that a radical change in diet and lifestyle gives best effective aid. we find now that spirituality within ones self is as important as physical health.

greet the morning sun everyday, and watch the sun set.
be honest with your self.
sweat once a day for one hour.
practice proper body posture sitting and standing.
learn to completly relax, calm the mind.
when you align the spine and center your body, your chakra points flow free to breath deep, energy flows.

like a community, if the body works together, it can overcome major obstacles. healthy mind healthy body.

  2. o.k. ...i spent five months or so in the bush and i feel great. i cut out salts most sugars and pre packaged stuff, ate whole foods, lots of vegetables...baked a lot of dinners, did plenty of walking and climbing hills... i thaught i was in good shape, and yet i lost 20 pounds. and it wasnt untill i had been in the bush for a month untill i started to be in harmony, my body started to feel great...
water, is very important. a water purification system is a must. dont go cheap, its a life saver. 300 bucks plus change buys a good one that will filter 10,000 gallons. secondary water filter system compact enough to pack around on outings.
food, knowledge of edible wild a must. i supplemented and ate clover, fireweed, berry's, it helps. nutrient value is better in the wild, but you still need protein. we need fiber and protein. fish or deer, hunting and fishing...roots and herbs...water system...housing..durable bush cloths...
next year i go again for another round and take it one more step, prepare to have a winter camp set up. with the ability to feed and water for min 7 days in the middle of winter. so now i research more, and prepare for whats to come...

  3. howdy once again, here i sit march 2013 in vilna ab. so i went out last april till october for a total of 6 months in the bush with occasional days off in town. it worked out great. however i think this year ill put in a garden of some kind and build up a good base camp of a more permanent nature. the wife got a gold claim last year, which works out great if we get another adjoining claim this year... theres a truck and camper, with a 26ft travel trailer, a highbanker and pump, hand tools and panning gear, and usually a two month supply of food with a weeks worth of water at a time so far. all garbage is sorted, burned, recycled for further use. the fire pit is enclosed and contained with a grate covered vent, toiletrys are well preped 300 feet from water and at least 150ft from camp. in accordance with my BC stewardship contract and provicial agreement all laws and conveyances are adhered to and practiced daily. i met up with several folks on my journeys so far, unique individuals all... old school honour, respect, under common law of the wilds... a wealth of information. my thanks to everyone there. truly pioneers in their own right.
this year with a claim established and all the gear there, its a three minute walk to the creek and the gold. with trusty neighbors and worthy parners of a helping kind, this looks to be a promising year. in retrospect the new area has shown 40$ per tonn i feel theres a couple pockets close by. a 1930s assay shows high consentrates one ridge over and the plan is to prospect and work my way to it, eventualy ending up with main camp there. well there it is, the plan and the goal, however thats not to say something else may come up and new new projects do arise... which brings me to documentation, a journal from all, and daily entrys to keep things currant. need to check a reference... there it is. a great way to help others and progress everyone at the same time. so my friends... untill april 2013 comes, i sit snow bound prepping my gear, waiting one more month to hit the mountains, then its back at her again. send a personal message if interested... D
